About the Track
We wanted to create a very simple song based on a premise provided by The Human: to describe the tedious day of an ordinary person, on a normal day. From that idea, the lyrics for this track were developed, detailing the daily routine

The alarm goes off, it's six in the morning,
With sleepy eyes, he gets up without a warning.
Coffee and toast, the routine starts to play,
Another day on the wheel, just the same old way.
Just a normal day, in the life of a working man,
Nothing special here, just doing what he can.
From dawn to dusk, keeps the rhythm, won't stray,
But at the end of the day, he just wants to stay.
He boards the bus, it's crowded to the brim,
Lost in thought, all heading to the gym.
The morning passes by, staring at the screen,
The clock barely moves, the routine so routine.
Just a normal day, in the life of a working man,
Nothing special here, just doing what he can.
From dawn to dusk, keeps the rhythm, won't stray,
But at the end of the day, he just wants to stay.
Midday arrives, a break to eat and breathe,
A respite in the day, before he takes his leave.
The afternoon drags on, papers pile high,
Waiting for the moment, when he can say goodbye.
Home at last, but the day’s not done,
Picks up the kids, the race is on.
Back to the house, a shower to unwind,
Dinner is served, relaxation he finds.
Just a normal day, in the life of a working man,
Nothing special here, just doing what he can.
